Shad Darts with a black nose give a more subtle flash of color and seem to disappear then reappear as they dart around in the water. This triggers a predatory reflex in fish that makes them hunt and strike the second it reappears. This is often the trick to getting those tight lipped fish to strike. As with all our jigs, we powder paint every jig head for a nearly bulletproof scent free finish. Then this pattern gets an automotive dip to overlay the proprietary blend of UV and fluorescent paints giving you eye-popping color that can't be matched.
